ABOUT US

Carlena Campese is a journal for cars and the people who live with them. Honest guides for drivers, written by mechanics and road testers, not showroom brochures.

Who we are

We are a small crew of mechanics, detailers and road testers who got tired of spec sheets pretending to be advice. Carlena Campese started in 2026 as a shared notebook of workshop lessons and long-term test notes. Today it helps drivers choose, maintain and enjoy a car without paying for things they do not need.

Our mission

We make car decisions cheaper and clearer. Every week we publish free guides on our five sections: Auto Reviews, Engine Tuning, Car Care, Road Safety and Vehicle Tech. You get real 2026 prices, service intervals and checks you can act on before you sign or book a lift.

Editorial standards

No sponsored picks, no pay-to-rank lists. We buy or borrow at retail what we test, disclose relationships, and correct mistakes in public within 48 hours. Numbers come from our own fuel logs, workshop quotes and published service data, never from a press release. If a car, product or method fails in real use, we say so.

The team

Carlena Campese (road tests and buying), Marcus Vale (workshop and tuning), Priya Nair (car care and detailing), Tom Barrow (road safety) and Elena Ruiz (vehicle technology). Supported by contributing mechanics who review every guide before it ships.
